30 Screencasting Software with download link

What is Screencast?
You know print screen and what it does. Print screen captures a snapshot of your computer screen and lets you save that as an image. Screencast is something similar, but the difference here is that instead of taking a still image of the screen, a screencast is a recording of the computer screen output. It is a recording of the computer screen for duration of time along with the user’s activities.

Use of screencast?
Screencast is used mainly to create demo for software products and also to create video tutorials (Like this) . Most of the Screencast software allows to record audio and also to edit the frames of the videos, with stuffs like inserting an image, etc. This makes a screencast an ideal choice to create software demos. The user can view what is going on the screen and also listen to an explanation of the same.
